Class descriptions
Dive – Opening class
Join us for a welcoming 90 minute small group class, where you will meet others new to Yoga and Boheme. Instantly some familiar faces to roll your mat out beside as you begin your journey with us.
During this unique opening class our dedicated Boheme~Beginnings teacher will guide you through everything you could need to know in order to feel confident walking through the door on your own. Covering:
· what to expect
· studio etiquette - what to bring, what to wear, what if I need to go to the bathroom
· props - what they are and how to use them to create a more easeful practice
· common ‘Yogi’ phrases or lingo - demystifying Om and Sanskrit
· types of Yoga and how the classes differ – know your Vinyasa from your Yin, and show up to the class you intended to (we’ve all done it)
· a brief history of Yoga and why we practice what we practice
· how to get the most out of your Yoga journey and time as part of the Boheme family
Together you will also experience a short Beginners Flow, where you will become familiar with the most common postures, and options you can take should a position ever not be right for you. Leaving you feeling empowered enough to honour your own body during class.
There will also be plenty of time to ask questions, no question silly or small. We love a chat!

Float – Celebration Class
At the completion of your Month of Unlimited classes, you are invited back to re-join your fellow Boheme~Beginnings family to celebrate your new-found Yogi-ness.
Join us for an exclusive 90 minute nourishing restorative Yoga practice and Yoga Nidra (the practice of deep relaxation) to reward your mind and body for expanding through a month a new experiences and learning.
· Restorative Yoga, as it sounds, is a rejuvenating slow practice using pillows, props and cosy postures to nourish your physical body.
· Yoga Nidra is the traditional practice sometimes referred to as the ‘Sleep of Yogis’. In this practice our Boheme~Beginnings teacher will guide you through relaxtions and meditation techniques that are said to deeply heal the body and assist us to access the deeper parts of our mind where we are able to assimilate new knowledge and facilitate personal transformation. Nourish your mind.
