Sam’s Classes are:
A strong but steady practice, gradually building to guide students towards a specific energetic outcome. Sam loves to offer a theme or intention, imbuing her classes with philosophy and Vedic wisdom which encourages practitioners to move beyond physicality to explore a deeper meaning and understanding in the practice.
Experience a seamless blend of dynamic movement followed by longer holds providing the opportunity to experience each asana on a deeper level. This movement is accompanied by periods of stillness, pranayama and meditation, allowing time for observation of mind, body and breath.
Expect to leave practice with Sam feeling energised but equally as stable and grounded.
Sam loves Yoga because:
Yoga is my everything. A constant and my cornerstone that I can always come back to. Yoga provides me with an anchor, a powerful form of self expression and a deeper connection to self and spirituality that has been truly life changing.
As a teacher I hope to inspire a similar experience within my students, offering them the space to feel a visceral connection to the practice. Yoga has helped me in every facet of my life, allowing me the space to become comfortable with a state of unknowing. Over the past seven years my love and devotion for the practice has flourished as my intention has shifted inward.
The practice continually humbles me, reminding me that there is infinite wisdom and knowledge to learn, unlearn and share. It is this knowing and commitment to being a forever student that ignites and cements a deep love and devotion for yoga.
