Devotional Ways to Start your Day

Take a read of our gentle suggestions to encourage you to establish a deeper connection to yourself + the divine each day.

The important thing is to show up, no practice has to be or ever will be perfect.

We show up daily for as long as we can as best we can.
Even just a couple of minutes will make a difference.

Be sure to make it enjoyable, try different practices till you find what feels best for you. Include your children or pets if necessary + encourage them to be involved.

Remember to be gentle on yourself as you start something new.

Connect with likeminded people (your Boheme community 😉) for support + insight into their daily practices.

I would truely love to support you all in introducing devotional practices into your day so please reach out at anytime. ~ ❤️‍🔥 Amy.

Rise Early

Between 4am to 6am is believed to be the most spiritual time of the day the time supporting more connection to the divine + more potential to peace.

Enjoy the stillness + silence of this time. Energetically there will be more ease to connect in your meditation.

Use this time to visualise, meditate, create + connect within.

6am is the time to gather energy for the day.

Perfect time for your Yoga + movement practice.

Connect to nature however you can, sit by the window to watch the sun rise, put your feet on grass, a swim in the sea, wear natural fibres, tend to your pot plants.

Any small ways you can let nature give you the blessing of its energy.

Daily Ritual to Your Altar

Have a sacred space in your home, can be a shelf, windowsill, top of drawers where you place items special to you + make your daily offerings.

This encourages connection with the divine + imbibes positive energy.

Each day we offer water, incense, earth, flowers, fruit, fire, + ourselves.

Set Your State of Mind

Spend just 5 minutes that is all you have journalling, reading a passage or prose from a sacred text or reciting affirmations.

Set intentions + schedules for the day highlighting how you will stay connected to this feeling + live devotionally throughout your day.

Care For Your Body

Abyhanga or self massage is the practice best for this + can be done in 5 minutes to an hour if you have the time.

Other simple practices include, using a kansa wand or gua sha on your face or body.

Preparing a nutritious meal mindfully or just sipping your morning brew peacefully.
